The Emodren Closed Circuit is a drainage system in continuous aspiration consisting of a 250 ml low-density PE bellows that generates a suction
power of 100-110 mm Hg.
It has a no-return valve linked via a luer-lock to a 700 ml collection bag (it too fitted with an internal no-return valve) and a water-repellent air filter.
The bag may be replaced one or more times with a spare one. The Emodren CC can be supplied in a base model without the drainage tube or in
various versions with differing diameter drainage tubes (Ø 2.4 - 3.2 - 4.2 - 4.7 - 5.7 mm), with or without guide needles on them.
The Emodren CC makes it possible to drain off considerable quantities of fluid without disconnecting or opening the system, thus guaranteeing
maximum safety for the operator, who may also choose whether to use a PVC or silicone drainage tube (the relevant connectors are in the
kit provided). The Emodren CC is indicated for breast surgery, thyroidectomies, urological surgery, orthopaedic surgery, general surgery and
whenever a washing/drainage procedure is required.
